Calexico is the lord of lunch. Imagine toasty tortillas, succulent pollo asada, oozing cheese...all of this made even better by their Crack Sauce, a secret blend of creamy, smoky (perhaps chipotle pepper?) deliciousness that is as addicting as its name implies...

A long time ago I wandered into Sunrise Mart and was astounded by it’s deli-esque nature. It’s uncommon to find a delicious Udon/Ramen/Soba place that also sells all manner of grocery items, from crackers and snacks, to noodles, to an aisle solely focused on matcha, such as green tea kit-kats. The space is cramped, but only because it is filled with so many things. I really recommend going around 1:30 if you can hold off on lunch that long because it’s really fun to shop around. But when it’s crowded, you feel kind of guilty taking up space in the aisles. Bring some pocky back for your office. They will love you...

Soup Kiosk is one of those places you never remember is there until you walk past it and are reminded of it’s existence. It is a small, well, kiosk attached to a far more expensive Soho bar/restaurant. This place is honestly one of the best lunchtime munchie spots I have ever frequented...
